RunKeeper user Helen (runhelenrun) says…
I started running for Marie Curie, in memory of my mothers partner who died of cancer. Now I run because I want to be better, I want to be good at something. I run for the feeling you get when you cross the finish line of a race, for the nervous-excited feeling I get while waiting at the start line and for the physical and emotional fight to make it to the end. I’m trying to run sub 50 minutes at my next 10km, but it’s not proving easy. I’ve been writing a blog called Going Sub 50… where you can read about my progress. -Helen
