New, improved (and FREE) training plans, right on your phone!

One of the best ways to make progress toward your fitness goals is to have a plan. In fact, when we asked the RunKeeper community, a vast majority of you were following a plan when training for a race. Unfortunately, figuring out how to hit your fitness goals - especially on your own - is hard!
A big part of being “the personal trainer in your pocket” is to take the guesswork out of training, and addressing this challenge has been one of our top priorities.
Back in 2010, we launched our paid training plans, and have gotten great feedback from you on the value that they’ve been providing. We’ve also seen that those of you who follow these plans have had better success sticking with your fitness activities and achieving your goals!
We’ve gotten such positive feedback that we’re pleased to announce that a new & improved version of these training plans is now available for FREE, directly from the RunKeeper mobile app! Whether your goal is to lose weight, complete a race of a certain distance, or do so with a specific time goal in mind, now you can follow a detailed plan from your favorite coach that will tell you what to do each day, and provide guidance in your ear as you are doing it.
In addition to making these plans free, we also made a series of improvements to the visual design, layout, and functionality of these plans (and more improvements coming soon). You can read more about how to use training plans here - or just download the app update for your preferred device!
