The RunKeeper app is going global—in six new languages, to be exact!

There are more than 17 million RunKeeper users now in more than 200 countries all over the world! This is amazing, especially considering that we are just a small team in Boston, MA USA and until now, our app has only been in English.
We’re thrilled to finally be changing that—RunKeeper is now available in six additional languages—Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Japanese.
We’re always looking to become a better personal trainer in your pocket, and we are thrilled to start to enable this capability in more of our users’ native languages!
These changes are live on Android now, and the iPhone version is coming very soon.
The Android 3.2 update also includes:
• Enhanced displays on your goal progress after each completed workout
• In-app live sharing to Facebook and Twitter, fitness insights, and badges for RunKeeper Elite users
Download the new version and give it a whirl! (You can switch to a different language in the settings tab.) And if you have friends who speak one of these languages, make sure to let them know that RunKeeper now speaks their language as well :)
And finally, if you speak a language that isn’t on this list and want to see RunKeeper do the same, let us know in the comments below. This is just the beginning!
