Hi Jerry,
We can't say definitively, but the sense we get is that we are very close. If you haven't already, you can sign up to be notified when we are live on our website. We are as impatient as you are :)

Jason,

Any idea of how long the Apple approval process will take? I keep checking the App Store, but nothing. Just wondering when we can expect it to show up.

Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Bob,
You will be able to listen to the iPod in the background while you run, as well as change songs. You will not, however, be able to use any third party apps like AOL Radio, as Apple prevents you from running two third party applications at once. This is a current limitation of the iPhone platform and something we hope Apple will address in the future.

I'm assuming that for version 1 you will not be able to listen to music while the application is running. Is this something that you expect to include in later versions?

Hi Jerry,
At this point, you can't. If you ignore or dismiss a call, it will continue tracking, but as soon as you take the call, your route will be paused automatically. You will have the option to resume where you left off when the call is completed. This is a current limitation of the iPhone platform and something we hope Apple will address in the future.

I sometime take phone calls during a run. I don't stop, so any pause in the application's run would make the date incorrect. Can you change the behavior to not pause the run during a phone call? Also, how long does it take Apple to approve the app now that you have submitted it. I can't wait...great idea/app!!!

Hi, I was wondering if you could add a lap timer in there. I race motorcycles and a lap timer is about 300$... all it does is set a starting point and then calculate the time it takes to do a lap... and also remembers the fastest lap. So if you could add that in there, you could make a killing in the racing world and I could save about 290$. Thanks :)

Thanks guys. We submitted it to be released worldwide, although it will be English-only for version 1. Thanks for your offer to help translate, I will let you know if we need help!

For altitude, we are collecting that data but will not be displaying it for version 1. I would expect that we will be in future releases, especially since many of you are asking for it. For exporting data, we did not include that capability in version 1, although it is something we will be evaluating closely for future releases.
