In January 2013, I was out of shape and out of confidence and knew it was time for change! While searching the App Store for an app to point me in the right direction, I stumbled upon Runkeeper. It started off with small distances during cold, wet Irish evenings in the local football field. But as my fitness grew, so did my confidence! Before I knew it, I was running everyday, everywhere I could. No matter what time it was, I could fit it in my schedule!

Five months into my relationship with Runkeeper, I had lost 20 kg. I still wasn’t sporting a Channing Tatum physique, but it was certainly progress!

Throughout the summer of 2013, I was constantly running. I was in the best shape of my life, and not only did it shine through in my physical appearance but also in my confidence and mental health. I was on top of the world, and couldn’t have got there without Runkeeper!

Now it’s been over a year, and I’m still heavily active on Runkeeper and forever logging my runs. I’m not running marathon distances, but I’m doing as much mileage as I can fit into a hectic student lifestyle! My goal is to have a Channing Tatum physique…someday!
