We know busy schedules are one of the biggest obstacles to getting into a good, lasting running routine. We also know that is really hard to know what you should be doing next, or to break out of that rut of doing the same exact run every time you go out the door.
That’s why plans are great, but gone are the days when you have to wrangle your schedule and fitness level into a one-size-fits-all plan! With prescribed workouts in Runkeeper Go, we start by figuring out exactly where you are and where you want to go! Just answer a few simple questions about your current fitness ability — such as, how far you can currently run and how often you want to work out — and we’ll pull together a new workout plan for you every week that will help maximize your results and keep you moving forward! That includes audio cues while you run that give you clear guidance on exactly how far to go and when you should pick up the pace or slow it down a bit.
As a bonus, we’ll also show you the week’s weather forecast and allow you to set up reminders by scheduling the days you want to do each run. No more missing a run because of bad weather or being too busy!
Each Sunday you’ll get a fresh new set of workouts for the week that are designed to increase your running ability and help prevent injuries that can come from pushing yourself too hard, too soon. AND if you miss a run one week, no problem, we’ll adjust and tack it onto the following week’s plan so you stay on track!
