Runkeeper App Tip: Activity Categories and Names

With latest updates on Android and iOS you can now give any GPS-tracked activity a wicked cool, wicked awesome, wicked special name, as well as categorize any run by the type of workout completed! (only runs can be categorized for now).

Available Categories to tag: Race, Long Run, Speed Workout, Hill Workout, Trail Run and Stroller Run
(For iOS users, those tags can then be used when filtering activities in the app!)

This is hugely helpful for when you’re going back and reviewing your training and progress over time. After all, you don’t want to compare your easy jog around the neighborhood with the stroller to a speed workout or race!
