How to Make the Most of National Running day!

At Runkeeper, we like to live each day like it is National Running Day. Running means so much to so many people for a variety of different reasons, and we love helping runners of all levels get out the door, stick with it, and work towards accomplishing their goals.

Here are just a few ways that you can get out there and make the most of National Running Day.

Run for the Joy of it

Take a break from hitting your mileage or pace goals. Just get out there today and run your favorite route, or even just a mile, and reflect on all the reasons why you enjoy running.

Challenge Yourself

There are a lot of ways to challenge yourself using the Runkeeper app, maybe you can shoot for a new PR or join the Red Bull National Running Day 5K featured workout in the app! Track a 5K before June 8, 2017 for a special reward from Red Bull.

Find a Group Run Near You

Today is also Global Running Day and what better way to celebrate than running with others? There are countless group runs being hosted across the world today. To conclude the ASICS Global Running Week Challenge, we’ve teamed up with ASICS to host several events. Check out the list of locations to find a run near you here.
